Lifestyle photographer on Sydney's Northern Beaches. I work with brands that want to feel real, and families at the moments worth remembering.
I'm a photographer based on Sydney's Northern Beaches, working with families, couples and brands to create images that actually feel like them.
I moved here about four years ago and honestly I love it. The light, the beaches, the pace of things. It's a good place to live and a better place to shoot.
I got into maternity and family photography because these are the kinds of moments people actually want to look back on. A pregnancy that felt like it lasted forever but somehow went so fast. A newborn who was tiny for what felt like five minutes. Kids at an age that changes before you even realise it. I really enjoy being part of that and spending time with people at those stages.
More recently I've started working with local businesses and brands too, creating content that shows what they're actually about rather than just what they sell. Same approach, just a different kind of story to tell.
The way I work is pretty simple. I keep things relaxed, I don't rush, and I try to make sure everyone feels comfortable. I shoot across the Northern Beaches and wider Sydney, as well as home sessions for families and newborns.
If your shoot looked manufactured, I shot it wrong. The job is to make the camera invisible enough that you forget it's there.
Most of my clients say the same thing: the shoot was the easiest part of their week. That's not luck. That's the entire approach.
Warmth without craft is just a nice afternoon with no photos. I sweat the light, the edit and the file. Always have, always will.
